I am going to be getting started this spring on a BBC thirdgen project. I have not removed the motor or transmission yet.this stuff will all be removed when someone pays for it, this way interested people can hear the car run.the motor runs great and the trans shifts awesome with no slipping.the tranny is a 4 speed manual.this motor and trans are original mates to eachother since 1982!! this setup that I am selling is EVERYTHING for a turn key setup.the ecm harness will not be disconnected from the motor rather from the ecm making reinstall and final hookup a snap.I have done ALOT of work on these cars so I know exactly how to removed everything the CORRECT way so that everything will be as stress free as possible.all relays and electrical parts mounted throughout the enige bay will be dismounted from the firewall and not unplugged,no guess work as to what plugs into what.the engine harness however (starter wires,alt wire etc>) I will need for the next engine so that harness will not go with the motor and trans.I can leave the motor bolted to the front k-member+complete suspension if the buyer has another k-member+suspension to swap in trade for the 4 cylinder suspension setup which is def diff than the V8 suspension and maybe?diff than the v6 suspension.this way at least you know you would be getting all the matching 4 cylinder front suspension.buyer can help remove all this from the car or I can do it all myself,it makes no diff.
I am willing to start doing all this come spring, say April or so.remember this really is a good running turnkey setup here, so if you have a dead third gen and want it running again for minimal cost then this setup is what you want. the car is in S.E. Minnesota. $250 firm cash only please.

 

Not much of a market for a 4 banger. The funny thing is, in a few years, it will be a rare and valuable car as so few will be left.
