Motor spun a #1 bearing. Motor still turned over easily. In fact, I didn't even know it had a spun bearing...since I was told it didn't run at all and I pulled it first.
This is complete from oil pan to intake with harness and computer!
All "new" items have seen only a few short drives and a few dyno pulls.
1998 LS1, high mileage motor but still has crosshatching on all holes
-New front and rear main seals
-New LS6 oil pump
-New GMPP timing set
-MTI R1 cam
-Low mileage lifters
-new 160deg T-stat
806 Heads
-valve job
-resurface job
-new valve seals and locks
-new Isky double valve springs
4L60 and converter
-180K, but shifted good when the car was running and driving.
-ARP Tq converter bolts
-NIB Permacool trans cooler
Harness and computer, all sensors, Alternator
-completely intact
-Tuned by Lane Culver at Hinsen Super Cars

My buddy sent me this email recently, he had been hunting around for me an LSX swap for my third gen. I forgot to tell him I'd gotten a mustang, and well he now want's to sell it. I do not have this engine in my hands, its at his shop. I can provide pics if needed. I believe he said he wanted 2500.00 for the whole thing.
Any interest?

Not sure if he's willing to seperate. I'll check w/him and see. I see your in jackson miss. If you purchase both I could possibly deliver them for extra gas cost.

pm sent. I spoke w/him on the phone today and he said one of his customers expressed interest in the engine and tranny. I have a feeling these won't last long. Even at the cost of rebuilding the engine, one would still be getting a decent deal.
