CHEVY 355 CUBIC INCH ENGINE
- GM Forged steel Crank (motor fully internally balanced)
- .030 thour Forged Domed Pistons with GM K rods
which is commonly used in circle track, high performance engines
- Big Block Valve Springs
- 3/8" Screw in studs and Push rod Guide Plates
- Crane Cam Roller Rockers 1.5
- Crane cam with Gross Valve Lift 510 int. and 512 exh.
- Victor junior high rise intake
- Moroso high volume oil pump with an 8 quart Moroso oil pan
- Wintige tray
- Have 3 sets of headers
- A 750 Holly carburetor, rebuilt
- An Accel dual point Distributor fully roller raised is included in the package
This distributor can also be converted to an HEI distributor from Accel
- The Flex plate is IHRA approved
- A high torque gear reduction starter
- A rebuilt alternator never been used
- March pulleys, black powder coated
- A Pete Jackson gear drive system (noisy)
- Cylinder Head has been ported, polished and test flowed
- Cylinder head is 76CC matched for compression
reason is the open chamber 76CC heads with 202 one piece stainless steel intake valves and
195, one piece stainless Valves Exhaust with bronze bushings for valve stems.
It's an early cylinder head casting #3888920 which comes stock with 194 intake and 150 exhaust.
Note
The reason that I used these heads was because I was told that it is a good casting head so that I can use 194 Octane gas (Sunoco Gold) or Race gas. The engine is estimated to make 500hp+ with these parts.
This engine has no mileage on it. Asking price is $4,000.00 or best offer.
