for sale is my low mileage sean murphy stage2 built qjet. it has the chevy style side inlet and electric choke. the carb has a bowl vent tube(charcol canister compatible) and an easy access apt(adjustable part throttle) piston. ive switched to a bigger carb so i wont need this one. built by the man himself ,sean murphy. one of the nations leading qjet gurus. check his website for any info on the stage 2 build mods and search the magazines for articles featuring him. he isnt a hack working out of his garage on friday nights. you obviously might have to rejet/rod it for your engine since it was set up for a 400+cid " engine but tipped 500 on dyno,so it makes power. i dont have a clue as to jet/rod/hanger size w/o taking it apart. the way sean works is he gets your specs on the engine and jets it according to his experience. i have to admit he hit the nail on the head.decent idle(although i have a bigger cam) great mid and part throttle response and with the big engine and gear i could still get 14+mpg if i stayed out of the pedal. im asking 125 obo. he charges 225 fo rrebuilding yours or 325 for a in stock one. either way you save hundreds.

Hi, You still got the quadrajet for sale?

I noticed you mentioned it has a chevy style side inlet and electric choke but also that it was built for a 400 cid which is cool cause I'm looking for a quadrajet for my 1968 GTO with a 400 cid the question is though - will it bolt on to my intake?

 

gto lady yes,it will fit but your fuel inlet is in a different spot. this is a side inlet,yours shouldbe frontal inlet if you havestock carb.if you have flex fuel line its cool. the well plugs ar eleaking like most qjets. they are epoxied but like all they dont last. youl have to redo them(5 dollar fix) or just live with having to crank the car a few times after 2-3 of sitting.
