F/S LE2/383 motor
This post was carried over from my impala forum. This motor is an LT-1 383. As most of you know I blew this motor a couple of weeks ago. I have yet to get the motor out, but should be in the next two weeks. The short block is chads compitition block with all forged internals and LT4 timing chain. The Heads and cam are the LE2 setup with port matched intake. The cam specs are 236/236 with a .600/.600 on a 107 LSA (this cam is NOT emissions friendly). These heads also have Patroit Gold valve springs. The motor with the rest of my setup put me into the 11's and made just over 400RWHP.
After talking it over with Chad he has agreed to rebuild this motor. So what I'm looking to do here is find out if anyone would be looking to buy the motor as a whole so I could just have it shipped from his shop to yo door or we can do something local if near the philadelphia area? Second is if there is noone interested in the motor as a whole, but would like just the heads, cam and matching intake we can work something out also. I would need to know for sure before he puts this thing back together. Like I said right not its still in the car but will be out soon. From there I'm not sure how long it will take for chad to rebuild it. If the motor goes as a whole it will NOT have on it the TB, starter, damper, opti, fuel rail, inj... etc. It would be a long block as you would get it from him. If you would want anything installed while its with him we can work that out.
