I have (2) 1986(ish) GM 305 engines for sale. Each one is about 80% to 90% complete, and I was told both ran when removed from the cars. I do not believe them to have any internal damage, and one has a “crate type” rebuilt bottom end. They have complete wiring harnesses, ECMs, sensors, SMOG, etc. Between both there is absolutely one complete setup here with loads of spare parts. Sorry, neither engine has pulleys on the front end. I did a quick inventory to see what is missing from each.

Engine 1 is lacking: Harmonic Balancer, Starter, Water Pump, Pulleys/Brackets, Plastic HEI Cover (on manifold), Carbon Canister.

Engine 2 is missing: Pulleys/Brackets, Distributor, MAF Sensor, and has the wrong ECM box.

Looks like all the other sensors, etc. are there...

I had purchased the two of these for my own use to build one from the two and put into my project car (1936 Chevy). I later came across a running LT1, so I no longer need these. I just need room in my garage!

This sale is a "project." Yes, I would say 95%+ is here to do a setup. But, it would require some cherry picking of parts of each engine to get one good complete setup. You would need to clean, paint, and re-gasket at a minimum. You could do engine work if you care to while you are at it. You would need to buy some belts and pulleys, or use the ones from the setup you have possibly. I see you have a Maryland address and I am in Florida. This is "pick up only," can't ship. This is a bargain in my opinion for someone capable and willing to put in the effort. The spare parts alone could be sold off to fund the project. E-mail me with particulars if you are interested.
