Does the posi unit come w/ the gears? What is the gear ratio? Mileage?

is it a disc rear? i forget, what do you need to do to put a 4th gen rear in a 3rd gen? just use spacers or something?

Re: 97 z28 posi unit

If it's a disc brake rear you will need new parking brake cables and proportional valves. Also your third gen wheels will stick out past the fenders about an inch on each side. If you get a set of fourth gen wheels or Corvette wheels they wont stick out. I just recently purchased a rear end from a '97 Z28 and plan to swap soon.

Re: 97 z28 posi unit

i've seen a few with 4th gen rears and 3rd gen wheels, they become flush with the lip of the quarter panels
