ZZ383(SOLD)
The ZZ383 short block has about 2500 miles on it and is hardly broke in. I did a compression test about 2 years ago when I installed a different cam,heads and I believe everything was within 10% of each other. The block comes with a 4340 forged 3.800" stroke and with 64cc's, the heads yield a 9.7:1 compression. I also have a Fluidampr Ext 7-1/4" balancer installed, along with LS7 roller lifters and a comp cams d/r timing chain. More info on the block below.

AFR-195's Comp-Eliminators(SOLD)
Like I said above, I installed the heads about 2 years ago, soon after AFR first introduced them. They are in excellent condition, hardly any miles on them(maybe 500 along with the cam) The heads are part#1095's and have the 65cc chambers w/2.08/1.60 and upgraded springs#8019 for cams of up to 600" lift. These are great heads, could feel the seat of the pants difference after the install. More info below.

I'm also selling my headers, which I purchased from American Coating Specialties. They are Hooker hdrs#2055, w/y-pipe and both were coated.

All of the above items are used but in great condition, although I bought the shorblock in 2004, I have only put about 2500 miles on it. The heads and cam have maybe 500 miles on them. I am going to try and sell the engine complete but if I don't have any takers, will part the above items out. I'd be willing to sell the engine from oil pan to fuel rails for $3750, which will include everything listed above minus the headers. Also included, would be all the accs brackets,pulleys,edelbrock alum w/p, new alt,p/s pump, proform v/c's and all of the sensors including the M/A sensor. If you were to replicate the above engine, you would easily spend $10,000.


Again, the engine is still in the vehicle so I'm not in any rush. If there is anyone local that's interested, I'd welcome them to come by and hear the engine run and if wanted, to do a comp check and or leak down test. Also, the engine doesn't have any leaks. I'm located 30mins south of Richmond Va,23875. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Started wrenching yesterday and snapped a few pics, the headers have a small hole in the Y-pipe where I had an AFR gauge mounted, also took some pics of the engine valley right after I pulled the intake, it's nice and clean. And lastly, I have a pic of the 2 sets of plug wires I'm selling.

Updated list, I still have the Exhaust for sale, should have some pics of the block later today.

I finally got the heads off and took some pics of the block's topend. Still looks great with no surprises.

Hey guys, I just wanted to add that allot of people have asked about the block and have been waiting on me to get some pics. I would prefer to sell this block local as it's just allot easier as far as having to not deal with shipping, plus you can look over the block before you buy it. So having said that, I would be more inclined to sell it local before having to make a crate and arrange shipping, so local peep's will take first priority. Although, money talks and if it takes shipping to make the sale so be it.

Allot of folks are asking why I'm selling everything and below is the answer, I'm switching to an LS1 in my t/a, I already have the LS engine and trans awaiting it's new home once everything else is gone.

Are any of the plug wires or boots melted or burnt?

None, actually 4 wires out of each set were never used as they wouldn't fit my headers, that's why I bought 2 sets and again the ones that I did use have about 10 miles on them, the plugs are basically brand new.

I have updated my list in a few posts above this one, also I will have a few more performance parts that I will be listing in the near future, thanks.
