What kind of brake setup works with dana44, poss 9 bolt brakes? I need something like this willing to ship?

 

I have one of these dana 44s in my 1991 camaro, the factory brakes will bolt up to this rear as it was offered over the counter thru GMPP several years ago.

 

is this rear strong, I need to make a upgrade from a 9 bolt, i got close to 400rwhp

 

Yes, this rear came in the '92 Firehawks and was sold by GMPP as an over the counter upgrade. I have heard that some people received them as warranty upgrades for broken 10 bolts as well.

I am putting a trutrac posi in it and it has moser axles in it. I am having the tubes welded to the center section and may have some additional bracing done to it as well as a Girdle/cover on it. I am building a 383 with plans for a procharger so hoping it will handle about 500+ rwhp

How much ground clearance did you have with your exhaust set up any old pics, may be interested in whole exhaust just want to see if it will clear my South side lift kit cross member. And if it does clear would you take 500 for everything.
