can you tell me what the gotchas are for this conversion from TPI? for example what fits on miniram, doesn't fit has to be modified to make it work (eg: fuel rail?). just trying to understand how much work is involved.

The picture shows the fuel rails on it. The harness to the injectors will need to be bought from TPiS.

 

Can you clarify what your set up was with the Mini-Ram as "stock". Engine (350 vs. 305), injectors, exhaust. Thanks

 

If u have stock heads, u don't want this manifold. it is port matched to a 1206 fel pro gasket and will be way too big for stock heads. You'll need to make ur own fuel lines from the factory chassis lines to the miniram fuel rail. the factory injector harness will work fine. there are a few small things you'll have to change, do a search and you'll get more info than i can give u.

are the center bolt holes on that intake drilled out kind of looks like it in the pic

 

yeah all the minirams are machined to accept either the 72* bolt angle on the later l98 heads or the regular bolt pattern on the earlier heads.

Physically yes, but the port size is equivalent to a fel-pro 1206 intake gasket. stock iron l98 heads are a bit smaller than a 1204 gasket, so there will difinitely be a flow restriction because the head ports are smaller and will interrupt airflow.
