New set of custom made headers by Lemons in California. Very high quality product. Specifically made to fit 1982-1992 Camaro / Firebird with big block Chevy and TH400 transmission. Only set in the world.... these were literally made for me. Tri-Y design with 2-1/8 inch primaries and 3 inch collectors (much bigger then the Hooker swap headers). Collectors locate next to transmission pan so you can run exhaust down the center of the car where it is supposed to be!

Never used, never even installed in car. Going different direction with engine and selling big block. Don't need these headers any longer. Lemons charges $1200 for their headers. I am asking $850. These are for people that want the best.

Tell me more about your 427 engine. Sounds like a cool project.

 

Well it is a 2 bolt main block. Nothing too special...bored over .030 speed pro forged aluminum pistons. Edelbrock roller cam and lifters, harland sharp roller rockers, edelbrock rectangular port aluminum heads, and a edelbrock performer rpm air gap intake. PLan is to put that into the 82 z28 i picked up for 1000$ that looks like it prety much rolled off the assembly line besides the faded paint and one dent in the door. Originally was a 305 with a metric 200 trans. Put a 350 in it, smoked the trans, built a turbo 400 with all b&m parts. Worked awesome till motor blew. So figured why not go big block power this time?

I hope you sell them, Lemons is probably one of the best header manufacturers out there. Those just look amazing, welds are perfect and nice clean bends. Its like looking at pieces of art. Good Luck!

 

Yep, I think people tend to look at these and compare them to their other option of Hooker headers. That is not comparing like with like. If you want an entry level long tube header use the Hooker. If you want something that will let your street/strip big block make real power then look at mine.

Still driving the 4th gen. I need to check in the morning but I think it took hail damage today. Too bad... I have minimum insurance on it! I'm in parts collection mode right now. I've been watching classified adds like a hawk at various boards trying to score deals on parts I want.

I have the hooker headers, I got them used at a good price, the lemons sound much better with bigger tubes, wish I had the money, good luck.
