Re: SBC 400
Are you willing to separate the heads only? if so how much for each item?

Why was it taken apart?

Re: SBC 400
The motor was for Mud drag racing. When the guy had it built the machine shop said they balanced everything, but it spun a bearing on the second pass. So the motor was pulled out, disassembled, and the guy bought a 502. Before he bought the 502 he had the block fixed, then sold it to a friend without a crank.

It would be great if i could sell whole but he did concider seperating. He wanted 3k for the whole setup. Truck ran a 3.2 in 250ft mud i believe. he never got out of second gear as this setup was pulling 8800rpm.

heads will be $1700. I have seen them personally and there brand new, if my funds were good id buy them and swap out my AFR's, by my 383 is costing me a fortune

Re: SBC 400
Now am second guessing him, he told me they were the competition not the eliminators, am going there tomorrow ill take pictures of everything and part number. Kegs has comps for 2100. Just looked it up, but for 1 500ft pass on the heads 400$ mock down is pretty good

Give me 24hrs to post pics and right part number on the heads

Re: SBC 400
Just want you to know I'm not the post police guy. I was just trying to determine which ones you were selling. I'm guessing the comp ones have a different part number but the elim's should be 1054's.
