Cheaper alternative to the centerforce flywheel for the older 2 pc rear main seals

Hey everyone

I'm currently working on 6 speed conversion and have found a flywheel that will work with the older 2 piece rear main seal motors (85 & older) and the LT1 T56, 6 speed tranny.

Made by Spec and its much cheaper.

Steel: SC66S = $279 (at a NY Performance Shop) It's $359 on Spec's site

Aluminum: SC66A $ $359.00 on their site

The cool thing about this is that is has a weight that you can add depending on how the motor is balanced.

Also found cheaper clutches - Any feedback on the below would be greatly appreciated.

Sachs Clutch Kit: K70043-01 - $228

XTD Stage 3 clutch kit: no model number - $259

Exedy clutch kit: 04134 -$310

Spec clutch kit: Sc421: $351

I have been searching, but haven't found a lot, but these seemed to be good:

RAM HDX Performance Set (rated @ 425HP): $374.99

Also Zoom OEM: $260 for the kit and are a step above stock, so I'm told, read some good things about Zoom, but they weren't talking about OEM....talking about Kevlar ZOOM clutches

Some talk about buying stock kit and also a McLeod street/strip disc, and replacing the stock clutch disc with the McLeod disc. there are those out there that say it can't be beat...

Would really like to hear from those with an 85 or older block w/ the T56.....
