Moser 9" bolt in rear with Wilwoods

I've decided not to finish my third gen camaro drag car project and will be parting it out instead. For sale is a brand new, zero passes/miles Moser Engineering bolt in stock width 9" Ford rear end housing, 35 spline axles, and Wilwood disc brakes. Again, everything is new. Only unpackaged, painted black, and bolted in the car. This should fit camaro, firebird, and ta from 82-92. Cost new was 1893.55 about six months ago. Will take 1600 cash, no less. Can be picked up in north tx or buyer to pay shipping. Please pm me if ur interested

Re: Moser 9" bolt in rear with Wilwoods

The rear is still in the car but I'll try to get pics in the next few days when i'm off work again. It's hard to provide a Moser part number because you choose the housing and axles then pick your options from there. I'll look at my receipt and try to list it as its shown there. Thanks for your reply!

Great question. Moser sent it in a special carton that I chunked already. Best bet would be to build a crate which I would do at my expense for the buyer.

No problem paying shipping. Just want to clarify; this is a Ford 9" with the torque arm provision for mounting in an Fbody? What gears are installed? What size brakes are installed - or more precisely, what size wheels do I need to clear the calipers?

Thanks,
Jon

What gears are in it?

And where the heck did you get such a good deal on that setup? Was $1893.55 your cost with the Wilwoods?

Re: Moser 9" bolt in rear with Wilwoods

Guys, I think there is some confusion here. This is a housing, axles, and brakes. No thirdmember is included. The brakes are Wilwood drags with dynalite calipers. I have 15" Weld Draglites on the car and there is no clearance problems. I'm putting the 10 bolt back in the car so the body can be sold cheaper and selling the rear seperately. I do have a Strange engineering thirdmember that is also brand new, Pro iron case, 35 spline spool, 457 pro gears, 1350 yoke, billet support, all assembled by Strange I'm selling for 1200. I wasn't sure how much interest I'd get on this site being a new guy so I haven't listed anything else yet but more will be coming.

Aha no third member. No wonder it's only $1600.

Bump for a great price on a new 9" third gen housing with Wilwood brakes and 35 spliners.

[QUOTE=bassngas;5109661] The brakes are Wilwood drags with dynalite calipers.[\QUOTE]

Yes, these are drag only brakes. Probably some of the best available.

Re: Moser 9" bolt in rear with Wilwoods

Would you eventually consider selling without the brakes if this doesn't sell soon enough?
Thanks,
Jon

I might be interested in the brakes depending on what housing ends they are set up for, and which rotors
