I finally got around to putting the Jeep shaft into my '83 Camaro.
What a difference!
Bump for a worthwhile upgrade.

I don't feel like searching through 300 posts on the thread linked earlier.
Just plain and simple, is this direct bolt in? My shaft is seized so I'll buy one if I don't have to spend 3 hours modifying things, or I'll just get a stock one from Don.
Let me know.

Re: Jeep Steering Shafts
You are right. Snaking the old one out past the brake lines kind of sucked.
The new one went right in. Used a round file on the column. Measured, marked, filed, and done.
Glad it showed up today as tomorrow the car is off to media blast. Needed to steer it!
