Re: 90 - 92 CAMARO / FIREBIRD TPI SD MEMCAL
I just wanted to a post a public thank you to Utilityguy2 for answering all of my ridiculous questions in PM, and educating me on memcal stuff!
He's extremely patient and polite, and made sure I had all of the information that I needed... well, all the info the guy doing the work needed, I'm just sort of a go-between.
So thanks again!
(I sent him the list you gave me of default options, I *think* I know what they all needed to be, but I'm not taking any chances, as soon as I hear back from him, I'll let you know and complete the order!)

For all others:
The memcal that I sell has no advantage over stock other than VAT is disabled and that I program it for whatever specification that someone wants. Such as disabling emissions. I can change the VSS pulse per mile to correct for big tires or different gears. I can set rev limiter. I can disable the notorious code 32 error flag. I usually disable knock sensor system as it is problematic on built engines. I also do a little work smoothing the spark mapping which makes the engine run a little smoother. But that's about all.
Stock is better if the eprom on the memcal goes bad (almost never happens) as the limp home mode fuel is a little rich on mine as compared to stock. Stock memcals are very expensive and still need programming in most cases. These memcals help people get their project up and running inexpensively.
