Modified factory K frame

Here we have a modified factory K frame. It has been modified by a professional.
If memory serves me correctly this was part of a package years ago. It was modified for big header clearance. The welds look awsome on it! It also has solid SBC motor mounts welded to it. I bought it from a friend at least 10 years ago to use in my car but never did. I'll try and track down more info on the why, who, what, when, and where. $175 shipped to any where in the contiguous 48 states.

Re: Modified factory K frame

I'm pretty sure it was modded for a deep sump pan. I think that might actually be a Ed quay k member I think he actually still sells them on his website.

Had one on my racecar. They fit awesome!

Thanks for the info! It was too long ago for my mind to come up with anything!

Re: Modified factory K frame

That's a real reasonable price. If I was in need of one I would take this if your hands.

Edquays go for like 250 + you gotta exchange yours so 175 shipped is an awesome price.

Re: Modified factory K frame

more pics.

This does appear to be an Ed Quay product. It looks as if it is the model with the modified A arm mounting for for caster.
