and these go in a third gen? with TPI? HSR?

Induction doesn't matter. Fits standard port heads so it'll fit all sbc with the exception of spread port heads,18/15 degree heads and sb2 heads.

I'm thinking more the fact that the TPI has sensors on the side of the block that may get melted if there isn't enough clearance. my other concern is how do they work with angled plug heads, auto trans and ground clearance?

Let's just say these aren't for you if you are asking those questions. A nice set of cheap Hedmans will do you proud.

wow, thanks for your input but no one asked. My questions apparently aren't worth a response since I'm not looking at driving my car "1/4 mile at a time"..

if these were on a stripped down car with a carb and vega steering then they might not work for me, but it hasn't been put in the thread so I am asking. Let the owner and possible buyer talk about it, aren't there rules against trying to shut someone else's sale down?

I believe theres 3 sensors? knock, oil pressure and temp sending unit.. With that siad there is ample clearance for all those far more than my el cheapo heddman shorties that cost me half a sec in the 1/4!!! In any case honestly if your still running tpi its very unlikely your motor is making enough power to benefit from such a large primary. The tpi is very limited in its ability to breath in a large ci or high rpm motor. I have no objections to selling them to you but in all honesty youd be better off with a smaller header. These are great headers for a motor making some steam!


1badrz28 how do you like the tsi glide? I just got a glide from them if its the company out of pennsylvania and cant wait to try it out, nasa shaft 1.69 gear set reid case etc etc should fit the bill!

Sorry missed the rest of your question, I ran angle plug heads, a th350 auto and clearance was fine got a little closer when I lowered the motor and slammed the car but at that point it wasnt unusual for me to scrape my torque arm crossmember it was so low...
