SLP 1 5/8" SS headers
As the title says, with y-pipe cut for packaging, asking $125 plus shipping. Note, an air tube on the passenger side is broken and will have to be welded to keep from leaking. I can weld it if needed but it won't look pretty.

Small dent on passenger side.

Re: SLP 1 5/8" SS headers
I'm replying to everyone by PM... just keep in mind that this is a huge box even with the y-pipe cut in half.

Re: SLP 1 5/8" SS headers
Since there have been a few questions about the headers and y-pipe here is more info. Not sure why I didn't post this the in the first place...
The y-pipe is set up for a single cat but would have to be cut to fit since I had a straight pipe instead.
I don't have a part number for the headers since I didn't buy them new. The full story is that SLP had a fire in their factory and someone bought pallets of parts that were coated in soot and other garbage. I bought one of the sets from him and had them sand blasted, then had the y-pipe made of steel... I never had the SLP stainless y-pipe.
Speaking of the y-pipe, it wouldn't line up right with the collectors when I did a motor swap (Dart Iron Eagle heads). That's why there is a collar welded where the driver side goes in front of the oil pan. So the y-pipe may need some work to fit your combination. If you don't have a welder, you could grind off the collar and use a stainless band clamp to put the y-pipe back together... you'll need to do the same back further (where the y-pipe gets close to the pinch weld, in front of the cat) since I cut the y-pipe to fit it in a box.

Looks like a good deal for someone. Mine look just like these but ceramic coated and I have the SLP y pipe.

$71 going to 88101 by FedEx
FYI, for those of you who are curious... it's a 44 pound box that measures 40" x 20" x 12" and I'm shipping it from 07847. UPS costs more than FedEx, and I'm putting in a dollar value of $100.

Would you sell just the headers? Toss the y pipe if you want.

Sure, I'll sell just the headers. I'll even cut the flanges off the y-pip so it will be easier to make your own. What zip code?

Re: SLP 1 5/8" SS headers
For those of you interested here are the box dimensions and weights, it will be shipped from 07847:
With y-pipe, 44 pound box that measures 40" x 20" x 12"
Without y-pipe, 20 pound box that measures 21" x 23" x 11"
Please use the UPS or FedEx websites to figure out shipping costs. I don't mean to sound like a dick but I've wasted more time repeatedly punching numbers into both websites just to have people back out due to the shipping cost.

The y-pipe is 2.25" at the collector to 3" at the cat-back.

Re: SLP 1 5/8" SS headers
Please drop me a PM if the headers haven't been sold. What will it take to weld the leaky smog tube?

Re: SLP 1 5/8" SS headers
Its just the A.I.R. tube where it goes into the header tube. Its probably more common on SS headers when they have 3 separate flanges instead of one flange to bolt it to the head.
Just a expansion contraction thing.

Re: SLP 1 5/8" SS headers
I've used a MIG welder on stainless before, but like I said it won't be pretty.
They're still available.
