Up for sale is an almost complete World Class (WC) T5 transmission swap kit. All parts came from my 1991 Formula WS6. The car had about 150K on it when I pulled the trans to swap in a T56. I have put about 40k trouble free miles on the car in the last 5 years. The car is my good weather driver, and was driven almost daily. Trans worked perfectly when pulled. Clutch worked well, but may be towards the end of its life.
The Good: Transmission has a Hurst shifter included. I will also include a set of pressure plate bolts that Rock Auto incorrectly sent to me.
The Bad: one of the case to bell housing bolts broke in the bell housing. It will have to be drilled out.
This kit includes:
* 82-92 Style T-5 Transmission (World Class Transmission)
* T-5 Bellhousing
* T-5 Dust shield
* Clutch & Flywheel
* Lower Shift Boot
* Hydraulics
* Shifter w/ ****
* Transmission crossmember
This kit does NOT include:
* 5 Speed Pedals
* Torque Arm Bracket
* All necessary connectors and pigtails
* All necessary hardware needed to complete the install(except for the aforementioned PP bolts)
* Console shifter plate
Hawks wants $1850 for their kit, so since I am not including everything, I am asking $1000 obo. Trans is located in 41094. Will not separate. Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions.

Tightly fill the voids with balled up newspaper or stretch wrap. Shrink wrap and/or tape to secure the top. Shipped one to CA through UPS this way.

I shipped one on a small pallet with FedEx before. Was right under their maximum for regular shipping
Agreed, I’ve shipped one of these standard UPS in a real heavy cardboard shipping box and have also shipped a TH350 UPS secured to a small pallet I made. Fell right within the UPS shipping weight/size.
Bump! Need this out of my garage.

How much for the Hurst shifter?
Ok, folks, the baby has arrived, and I need room in my garage for baby toys or something I guess, so this stuff has got to go. Make me a reasonable offer!!

Bumpsies!
End of the year bump. I just replaced my steel driveshaft with an aluminum one, so I will throw that and a new set of u joints in to sweeten the deal. $1000 OBO.

You can probably get that broken bolt out of it easily by welding a nut to it, if the break isn't down too far. The heat will also help break it free from the aluminum.
Surprised this hasn't sold, but I also feel like f-body guys think all t5s are made of glass and can't handle a 350 because GM never put them behind one... and probably also because GM drug their feet for so long and stuck so many of the trash light duty non-world class t5s in these cars until 1988 (3 years after Mustangs) their reputation has been tarnished in the f-body community forever. They have an undeserved bad rap, and unless you are power-shifting or shock loading them, the world class is probably suitable for any street driven small block. It amazes me that this is still for sale.
