So I bought the wrong bell housing... I needed one for an ls but I ended up with one for a gen 1 sbc. I already started notching the block plate before I realized that I had the wrong one. Thankfully I didn’t touch the bell housing it self, just the plate. Brand new, comes with all hardware, instructions, stickers. For use with a gen 1 sbc and t-56. Part number is RM-6023. I paid 720+tax, trying to get 600.00 shipped.

Do you know if this requires any modifications to the transmission tunnel?

Don’t think so. I installed the correct one in my car with nothing more than a bit of notching in that area in the photo to clear the driver side header. There’s absolutely no interference with the tunnel at all.
