Has a few scuffs. Worked with stock tpi, edelbrock base and every combination of runners, and super ram in my car.

I'd really like this but I recall some discussion about these not fitting under firebird hoods. It seems like the jury is still out.
Do you happen to know if there are any fitment issues with a 'bird hood?
EDIT- it'll fit but the hood structure needs to be modified.

To confirm, you are saying it DID fit over a stealth ram intake in your 89 iroc with stock hood?

No, sorry. I meant factory tpi style base and runners, edelbrock, accel, slp, tpis/azs&m, and custom. A buddy with a stealth ram could not fit the brace on his 91 z, either because of its height or his solid motor mounts.
