The 93 to 97 and 98 to 02 one piece driveshafts are all compatible with the third gens, the big advantage of the 98-02 LS1 aluminum shafts being their lighter weight and increased strength.

I'll look into a shipping quote on Monday, out of town for the weekend. I'd recommend replacing the u joints prior to installing.
