Custom made steel shaft with 1350 yokes. Also means you'll need a 1350 trans and diff yoke.
My steel shaft is 3" x 0.083" custom made and balanced by a local driveline shop.

How much did it cost total? I was looking into aluminium 4th gen shaft but ive heard they're weak after 400hp. Hmmm my uncle runs a driveshaft shop, how ironic lol

It was a long time ago but I think the shaft was around $300-$400 to have it custom made. Depends on the availability of all the yokes required. Trans, diff and both yokes for the driveshaft.
Aluminum driveshafts are nice but OEM shafts are not very strong. An aftermarket aluminum shaft may be around $700 but even then, I wouldn't put one behind my engine. A properly balanced steel shaft is stronger than an aluminum one. The weight saving is minimal.
