How are they constructed? Any strength concerns?

I minitubbed my resto mod Z28 and want to stuff as big of a tire as I can back there and 3 piece wheel.
I was looking at offset control arms, but these seem like one step further perhaps.

I see they were made by Spohn, did you call them up to have them made custom for you?
I have seen these in the past, but am not at the stage of needing them yet, but if the price is right and the bushings are in great condition, then I am interested.

I made a mockup piece and sent it to them and they made me these. I never had any issues with strength but I wasn't racing either. Bushings are good, rod ends are still good.

How are they constructed? They are a couple pieces of tubing welded together. They clear 8.5" of backspacing on a stock width axle with room to spare with 18" wheels
