10 inch or 9.5 lock up stall converter

I am looking for a 9.5 or 10 inch lock up converter. 3000 to 3200 stall would be great but not a must. vigilante or yank prefered but will consider all offers
thanks to any one that trys to help. My email is Lt1350@bellsouth.net.

9.5" lockup is the way to go...its lighter, hits harder and easier on the drivetrain. I got mine from edgeracingconverters.com, very efficient and worth every penny of the $535 I paid for it. If you go with yank or vigilante, prepare to shell out $700+ for one which is in my opinion no better than edge.

converter

I actually have talked to them and was wondering how there product was. I just burnt up a tci 10 inch. the lock up clutch just let go. I have a vigilante 9.5 4500 triple disk in my 94 z-28 and love it but cant shell out the cash for one for my firebird right now. I went from a s-10 4.3 w motor converter to the vigilante and picked up 45 hp at the tires so I was concerned with the torque mutiplaction of the edge. also my program has my converter locking at the top of second gear so will the edge handle that like the vigilante ? I know we are talking about a 1400 to 535 dollar so its hard to compare unless you are truely paying for a name.so many of the companies now are using front wheel drive cases and calling them racing convrters. they will drive through the converter if you hit it with a lot of hp. like sit at 5500 and never come down between shifts. I saw a J&W do that in my friends car when he sprayed it. SO I am being very careful about trying to find a good "budget" converter. vigilante and yank are out of the question unless I can get one used. So if anyone that has used one of these budget 9.5 converters and are very happy with it I would apprecieate the info. thanks for the info on the edge. If you have an other praise on it or testomony to a hp increase or lower 60 ft times vrs another converter let me know.

the edge converter I got is a 3200 stall with a 2.4str so its very tight on the street and super efficient. With the amount of torque my car has, I can stall it to about 35-3600rpms.
