WTB: PROM for 383 Super Ram
just bought a real Lingenfelter 383 with Super Ram and I really want a Lingenfelter chip to go with it. Anyone have a MAF chip that will work with this combination or know someone that does? Thanks!
what your asking for is alsmot completely impossible. every engine let alone similar combinations tend to need their own maping. this is the reason i later ditched the tpi and went lsx on all of my thirdgen projects.
i have a chip from tpis for a 383 with a miniram and i also have one for a 383 with a super ram and 388 with a super ram. roughly $1200+ wrapped up into just the few chips i have. any one chip would be a basis to get you up and running to have it properly tuned but i doubt you'll find someone elses chip that will work for you.
if you search the boards there is a guy close to you tpi383 i believe that may be able to help. for anyone reading i'm selling the chips at $150 a piece just to get rid of them. i'll never do the speed density thing again.
good luck.

I went for a long time without a properly burned chip for my 86. I too had a mass air 383 car. Superram, 219/219 cam, vette heads. Ran good for the most part but was never quite right. Had to trick the computer a bit. Finally got one done just for my car and it ran a ton better. Still not like an LSX car, I finally got fed up and sold it. Love the body style though.
