I am looking for a 700R4 tranny to use in my S10 V8 swap. Since I have no interest in having one shipped let me know what you have in ME, NH, MA, CT or RI.

Right now I am interested in just about anything. Let me know the condition and if it needs to be rebuilt or not.

I've got 2 cores,......... Here's why I say cores:

I only have so much room and can't save everything....... When I know something's junk I leave it in the car's carcass for the scrap yard. I saved these because these 2 tranny are from cars that I COULD NOT DRIVE. I was told they were fine and that's the only reason they are still here. They might bolt right up - they might both need a re-build. For my own piece of mind I need to say they need a "rebuild". $50 That's for the 700R4 with no cable and no TC and no speedo sending unit.

Also got one from an 85 TA that's was driven - $175,....... It should still have the TC & cable still on it. ( no Sending unit )

I might have kick down cables - but can't be sure right now.

I'm in Rhode Island.

 

I have a 700R4 out of a wrecked 9s IROC. Worked well when it was running. Comes with shifter, torque converter. Its on the east coast if your still looking (Maryland /DC area) Let me know if you need more info wre46@hughes.net
