Re: WTB: ported 305 heads
I have a pair of '416 fully ported and polished 305 heads. These are exactly the same as a TPI 081 305 head, except they use perimeter bolt valve covers instead of the 081 center bolt valve covers. Over 20 hours porting invested into these heads. The combustion chambers and exhaust ports have been sanded and buffed to a chrome like finish. The valve job only has a few thousand miles on it.
$250 firm. Yes you can get stock '416 or '081 heads anywhere for $50/pair. Have a fun time finding someone who extensively ported them. The port work alone would cost you more than I am asking. I was using them on a 327 to get my CR up, but I ended up finding a set of small CC World products heads reasonably priced so I am going to run those now. These ported 305 heads were pulling to 6500 rpms on my EFI 327.
