I need the housing for a 1988 9-Bolt posi rearend with 3:27 gears and cast iron calipers. I will buy the entire rearend if needed. My internals are all good but I found out that my axle tubes are bent. I am willing to replace it with a newer rearend if you have one for sale. Must be able to ship to Texas. I have a 9 bolt with cast iron calipers, not sure of year. I am willing to part it out if need be.....can strip it down and sell housing and both axles are available as well. Posi is 2.77 unit..LMK via PM.

 

I have a complete 1988 9 bolt disc rear with the 3:27 gears and posi, $250 for the rear, located in NY zip 12538.

 

I appreciate the offer. I think that I remember that the 2:77 gear housing will not work with my 3:27 gear unit. I may be wrong but I thought that I had read this somewhere. Do you know if it will work? Thanx!

If all you need is the bare housing I can ship that, shouldnt be too heavy with everything out of it.

 

i have a 9 bolt out of a 89 iroc that has 3:91's in it let me know

 

i also have a empty housing. Out of my 89 Irocz. no axles, no posi, no brakes. just the bare housing. also has LCA relocation brackets welded on it. i dont think shipping would be all that much since its probly pretty light now being all empty
