I have a chevy 283(289) that I built a few years back with about 290hp and only about 15,000 miles on the rebuild, and ended up using the intake and carb on another engine that ended up getting sold in my 67 chevy C10. Well now I have a great engine that i wanna sell but dont have an intake or carb for it so no way to show people how well this baby runs. I am not going to be extremely picky here, I just want something to throw on to get it running and sold. I would like something non-stock like a edelbrock performer intake or something along those lines, and also an edelbrock or holly carb. I know edelbrock is crap but it looks pretty which helps sell the engine, and I'm not keepin it so I dont care if its a inferior carb. I would ask for a mechanical q-jet, but I know that if I got one that I wouldnt be able to let it go with the engine, I love my q-jets...lol
