the thermostat housing on my 3.1 Liter broke this weekend and i need to get another ASAP. i know that my old 2.8 liter had the same one...two bolts located under the throttle body. anyone have one, or know where i can get one...O'reillys and autozone don't carry them.

not much to choose from around here. does anyone know what other cars this part was in? i know the 3.1 was used on other vehicles, but i don't know if the parts were the same.

 

i have an 87 2.8 l pulled and sitting. i can probably pull the thermostat housing off for you tomorrow.

 

i'm going to spend a saturday at the local yard to see what i can find. if i don't have any luck, i'll let ya know. the last time i went, there were only 2 thirdgens, and they were pretty much gutted.

 

my engines not going anywhere, so just let me know!
