smog delete pulley wanted
Hi, I am looking for the smog pump delete pulley. The price for the new GM part has gone up, so I'm hoping someone will have one laying around that they don't need anymore. I'll pay $20 plus shipping for it as long as the bearing is good and the mounting holes aren't stripped. Email me at perrineaf@yahoo.com or PM me. Thanks

Thanks. I've already done that. It leaves a very long section of belt between the crank pulley and the AC which vibrates and makes a lot of noise, I've tried a couple different belt lengths and they all do it. If anybody knows how to fix this issue I'm game, but I think I'm just gonna have to get the pulley.

That's how I did it, fine on my car. What you have to do is reinstall one of the bolts that held the smog pump back on. IIRC, it's the "inner" bolt, the one closest to the center of the car. That one bolt also holds the bracket to the block. This should fix you vibration issue, at least it did on my car.
