If you happen to have a 27-spline 700-R4 (not sure if Thirdgens had them or not), I've got a BTO 2200 stall that came out of my 200-4R. $200 shipped.

I have 4 700r4 converters
1-stock, not sure of spline count...unknown condition
the rest are low mileage converters
1-corvette, 30 spline
1- Art Carr 2400 stall, 30 spline, small diameter with plate
1- SLP 2400 stall for TPI, 30 spline

Yet another option for you:
S-10 converter from 1995 Pickup. Has 60k miles on it. Fluid/filter changed at 50k miles. I'd have to say it's as good as new.
Depending on low-rpm torque, will stall between 2000 and 2400 behind 305/350 ci.
$100 + shipping.
