Re: I need a cheap T5 Transmission!!!

I have a t5 that was rebuilt bout 2000 miles before I bought my car and I have put about 5,000 miles on it. It shifts very nice and is still in the car. I had it out once to get at the clutch and noticed that the threads for the bolt that hold the speed gear were a little messed up but it holds, could be heli coiled if needed. Also the bell housing, not the transmission, has one bolt that is stripped that goes from the trans to the bell housing, but ive been driving around with it. could probably be fixed. I took the shifter off once too and noticed that it only had 3 out of the 4 bolts holding it down, it would be easy to find another one. Its a nice trans, im upgrading to a super t10. If you are interested let me know. The driveshaft would be available and the slave i think is too, I don't know if i can use that with the lakewood bell housing.
