145 Gears Needed!

I just put in a 145 speedo and realized that the speedo is calibrated so i need drive and driven gears from a 700R4 if possible to have my speedo running correctly, and the other misc parts

The speedo will read correctly unless you've swapped in another rear with a different gear ratio. If you've done this swap, you'll need drive and/or driven gears which match the new rear.

Yep, the speedo isn't calibrated to anything. It is controlled by the drive/driven gear in the trans. which match the gears in the rearend.

IF your speedo was accurate before you swapped the cluster, then the new one should be accurate as long as nothing else was changed.

Hm, i'll check about that, i'll swap back my 85 speedo and see if it works properly if not then it might be the gears.
