it might be a stretch, but im looking for a posi unit for a 7.5" 10 bolt. series 2 with 26 splines. dont need gears or anything, just the unit itself. looking to spend around $100. let me know what you have

or if you have a 3 series unit with gears and axles (or the whole rear end) i may be interested if the price is right

There weren't many of these, you may hafta get a new Auburn. That, or get an open diff and a conversion-style locker.

thats what ive heard but i figured it couldnt hurt to ask, especially cuz im trying to do this on a budget

I have no clue about Green Bay, but around here, it's no challenge to get a complete rear end assembly, with posi and your choice of ratio, for $75 at Pick-N-Pull. Unless you actually want a gear less than 3.23:1, this is ideal. No having to fool around with setting backlash.

I have a 26 spline series 3 carrier, axles, and I think 3:23 gears. I would take $100 for it all. Where are you located??

ive got to put my search on hold for a little while till i get some financial issues straightened out. i hope to have it taken care of by next week. ill update the thread when i get things taken care of
