OK,I was told I can use a 93-95 3.4l in place of a 2.8l.If nobody likes these motors why are they so darn hard to find.and the internet stinks when it comes to looking for stuff.thankyou third gen.com!!!!Now if anybody has a 4th gen block siting around I might give that a try.otherwise how much will it cost me to put a v8 in this 86 bird I got?

Hey I am putting my 305 tpi engine/tranny/harness/intake and everything up for sale. It runs strong! That'd be better than a 3.4, for sure.
