A few weeks ago I put a shift kit in my gta an I now have no 3rd or 4th.. so since I have to pull the trans, I figured this would be a great time to pull the motor and put in my rebuilt 355..so I was checking to see if anyone has a freshly rebuilt trans that happens to need a good 350...

 

Dont need a motor but have a 700r4 that was rebuilt less than 3k ago. Its a 85 camaro trans rebuilt with a new stock converter,I was saving it in case the one I traded my old short block for isnt good, I havnt had a chance to test out my new one yet but I need some cash if your interested pm me

hey ive got a 700r4 in my camaro right now...i just bought a 350T and I dont need the 700r4, its just another tranny that will eventually be laying around...if you need it im sure we could work something out, it shifts good if you have the shifter cable adjusted right...ive been tinkering with the cable and almost have it correct...im located just a couple hours away too in maysville ky...you would be more than welcome to come drive the car as it sits with the 700 in it to be sure you want it...my email is smokinjoe07@hotmail.com email me or comment back and we figure something out

humm....what do you mean if adjusted right? what does it do?? what year is the car that its in? and how many miles on it? I am in Nc right now and I started pulling the motor today.. I will be heading back up to Ky in a couple weeks.. so I may be interested...

 

idk for sure how many miles are on it...being i recently bought the car its an 84 camaro...it has an adjustable cable that will change shift points apparantlywhen you lengthen it the shifts come quicker...you can shorten it to make it wind out farther before it shifts...kinda neat, i had never seen one like it. but its worked fine and has been in every gear with no trouble
