First Gen SBC 350 Cylindar Heads
Hi all,
I have my 350 and its running decent, we have done a lot of work to it, bigger cam, exhaust, intake, etc, etc... but when building the engine.. I ended up losing my job.. and couldn't afford aftermarket heads for my Camaro.. so we ended up getting the stock heads that were on the engine rebuilt, put performance springs and roller rockers on it.. and said good day... (btw they were L05 swirlport heads
)
now its been a couple of years.. and I'm looking to upgrade my heads (on a budget) all the heads I'm finding are a little out of my price range. I figured I'd see if any of my TGO friends had any good deals for me...
I'm looking for pretty much anything that will be a direct replacement.. so it needs to have these things...
centerbolt patter for the valve covers
guide plates (we dont have self aligning rockers)
non-vortec
I know that if they are older heads, or for older engines the intake bolts won't line up.. so i need to make sure it will fit an 88 and newer intake.
I'm looking for them around Michigan so that I can drive to come pick up.
if anyone can help, id greatly appreciate it.

go with AFR heads, they are THE BEST. PERIOD.
waiting on Doom and InjectorsMinus!
but for real... if your just looking for better than what you have, you can pick up some aluminum l98 corvette heads for pretty cheap, they will be better than what you have, bolt right up, and fit you budget. i'm sure there are other head options out there as well that fit what you looking for, i'm just not familiar with them

true, I am looking for better than what I currently have, but I don't want to goto another stock head, I know I can get them worked on to flow better and what not, but I would much rather go aftermarket if I could.
