Anyone have a new 40-45 tooth VSS for the 700R4 tranny for sale ?

I have one that works. If you still need it let know. It came out of a 4th gen.

 

What else could it be ? My speedo, tripo, and cruise works intermediately. I replaced the VSS 4 out buffer, no difference, so the only other thing that I can think of is the VSS in the tranny. Open to any suggestions/recommendations...

 

basically you want the electronic speedometer off the back of the tailshaft housing? I have one. Im not sure of the gear size but I wanna say it is green.

 

Not quite sure if I'm following you...Are you suggesting other than the 2 conductor wire speed sensor that fits in the large round hole in the tailshaft housing, held in with a huge "C" clip ? Like maybe the plastic gears may be bad ? My sensor has the "D" shape shaft and stamped 40-45 in the side of it..Took the GTA out for a drive today and the speedo, tripo is not working at all now after several miles of driving. I get torque convertor lock up. I mean the tranny shifts fine...

 

The part I have came off the back of the tailshaft. Ill get a pic of it tomorrow and post it here for you. cool?
