Re: engine swap-327
have a good complete bolt in and go 6" tail TH350 trans with stock converter from a v-8 chevy car for 150 in central IL if you can figure out a way to get it to you from here
or anyone else interested? in IL?
its 3" too short for the truck i want to put it in i need a 9" tail one, or a 700R4 or a regular 400 trans from a '70's or '80's 2wd truck thats around 31.5" long overall, with the D/S yoke length included
text me anytime 217 671 7792

Just a friendly FYI....that transmission you have is a 4L60E. It's going to need a computer to run it.
And just throwing it out there but have you ever considered a short stroke 350? It's a 400 block (4.125" bore) with a 327 large journal crank and 6.25" rods. I have a 400 two bolt block with a stock bore and splayed four bolt conversion mains. A virgin steel forged 327 Corvette crank and a new set of Eagle 6.25" rods. The block will need machining. You will need main bearing spacers or special thick main bearings. And pistons...which are off the shelf 400 SBC pistons for a 6" rod. Every piston manufacturer makes them.
