Looking for 3.42 rear end in upstate NY

Im looking for a complete rear end with 3.42 gears. prefer drum. Posi or no posi is fine. The stock 3.23's in my 82 T/A just are not cutting it. I live in northern ny, will travel a reasonable distance to pick up one. scott 315-244-8686

Go to car-part.com and search for an auto V6 rear, pre-90 (those got the 3.23s).

If Mav is correct in saying that V6 has the 3.23, then I have one here. Not pulled yet, though. And I'm about 2 hours south of Syracuse.

Have a 91 z with the G-92 performance axle rear disc pose, nice shape with aluminum drive shaft- all for 375 it's a 3.45, same as a 1Le I believe, but correct me guys if I'm wrong, if interested I'll send the pro codes to check,
Thanks

If the car is a manual, then it's a 3.42 otherwise it's still a 3.23... If not G92, then it's even worse (3.08 or 2.73). And apparently 90-92 V6s with the T-5 still got the 3.42.

Count the bolts on the diff cover, if there are 10 boilts than it's NOT a 3.45.
