Hey, after letting my engine get rained in and having the bores sit and rust, the machine shop said they need to bore the ole girl out to .060. I'm not really comfortable with that. They said I could sleeve it, but it would cost a total (with all other work needed to prep it) of about 850 bucks. .....

Not sure if I want to commit that to a stock 2 bolt l98 block.

So, I'm looking for a good block. I have .030 pistons, and a steel crank that hasn't been turned.

Any one have a 350 block they want to get rid of for cheap? I'd be interested in fresh short blocks too. I have a stealth ram and profilers to put on it, but the budget is small. I was expecting to get out with a simple hone. ... FML.

 

I have a 4-bolt roller 350 block that has been in a bag in my garage from the machine shop and is ready to go. How much are you looking to spend?
