Hi, have a friend that races skiff boats and is looking for a pair of 14014416 heads for his next 305 engine. The friend was telling me that he wanted a pair that had 1.72 intakes. The guy that does his machine work claims that in the '80 model year, some 305 trucks had 141's, with small intake valves. I think at this point he'll accept a pair with 1.84 valves.

There was a '614 head around that time on the 305 trucks with 60cc chambers and small valves. But on a '416 I think they only ever came with 1.84. I might accidentally have a pair of the '614
