well its time to get serious to get my swap going as my current 305/t5 is about to go poof. i live in VA but i travel the southeast a lot so could maybe arrange pick up. am looking for a t56, doesnt much matter to me which year or car it comes from. it will be going behind a stock ls1, so need what ls1 bellhousing... umm if im not mistaking i can use my t5 hydraulics and pedals, ill buy a new clutch. am looking to buy over the next few months, i have no set day yet so if your willing to work with me even better. lmk, thanks.

 

Dark, i'm not sure if you even want to consider this as I live in southern California. I have (4) T-56 transmissions for sale. All are out of Camaro/Firebird applications. All have bell housings and I believe that they all have the shifters. I have one tagged DFJ which I believe is an M-29, from model year 1993. I have two tagged DLF from '94 or'95 and one DLK from '96/'97. Torque ratings are 400 for the DFJ and 450 for the rest. Let me know if you are interested.

 

@willys1 - Dark is putting it behind an LS1, so needs a 98-02 trans. Your lot would fit great on any SBC/L98/LT1.

 

ya i need the ls1 trans, and why is all the parts in cali i need, dang it. You guys always have what i need. I dont go to cali anymore and i really dint want to pay 200+ shipping on top of what you asking(which is hiw much btw?)

But then again if thise will bolt up to a 305... Time to do research. Ill keep those in mind

 

Sorry about the slow response it's been one of those weeks. I did a little research on shipping and there is quite a bit of difference in prices and requirements. What I can do is put the trans on a pallet for shipment and either have it picked up at my residence in the 92308 or I can transport it to a loading dock in the area. I have the capability of loading onto a truck at my home. I would like you to arrange shipping that meets your needs. I would like to get $1000.00 for the trans

scotty, those trans cross members... how much do you want for each of them? kinda got my eye on that red one.
