I'm in the south central Kentucky area and hoping to make a trade locally, at least within reasonable travelling distance. Right now I'm just gauging interest/availability. I can post pics/model info on the alarm system if there is any.

As the thread title says, I'm looking to trade a Viper brand car alarm system that's brand new, still in the original packaging for a working 700R4 transmission and torque converter. The alarm system is a top of the line unit with two way remotes and led screens. I paid $500 for it and another $50 for the window mounted led active sensor. The sensor pulses an led back and forth across its surface (kind of like the led on the front of Kit in Knight rider) when the alarm is active.

Edit to add: I need the transmission to replace the one in my 85 Z28 that recently blew.

 

I haven't had much time to come back here and check this thread as I'm in the middle of job hunting. The alarm is a Viper 790xv and the scanner is Varad alien series (blue).
