Hi Guys,

Watch out when purchasing used items.

I just had a guy attempt to scam me out of $425.

He indicated that he had a MiniRam II for sale. He sent me a private message from this board.

However, he was not willing to provide verification of his identity.

Always purchase through Paypal or something similar.

Here are the "seller" (scammer) details.

It turns out a person of this name in San Jose CA would be 106 years old. According to the public records search that I ran.

The bottom line, be careful with interstate commerce. This person was really eager to sell the MiniRam II. Until I asked if he was willing to meet a friend from Fremont CA.

A member is selling a miniram 1206 port, with 58mm throttle body for $1000. That's not a bad deal with the throttle body. I think he's throwing in injectors as well.
