Ported Plenum and Runners

I have an 89 Formula LB9 5-speed car and want to port the plenum and runners. The car has 1.6 roller rockers, holley fuel pressure regulator, air foil, K&N filter and dual cats. Should I get a 52mm throttle body to go along with the porting or keep the stock 48mm? Also fuel gauge is stuck passed full after they put the regulator in, could it be a short somewhere? Thanks!

The stock 48mm is more than plenty for what you've got.

I don't see how a AFPR would affect the fuel gauge. Probably the sending unit. Mine did that, and would stay pinned beyond full until 1/4 tank.
