I need a th350 crossmember
I am in the market for a th350 crossmember. Does not have to have torque arm mount. Right now I am running a short torque arm.

You can use a stock third gen 700r4 crossmember and just weld a tab/plate on it that extends 2" and drill a hole in that for your mount.
The old hurst and B&M swap kits came with a plate that did the same thing but you just bolted it onto your factory crossmember

I have thought about doing that but just bolting it to it. Like they did in the kit. I don't have a welder. But I will be putting about 700 horse in the car. Do you think that doing that would be OK with that much power.

Bolting would work just fine. With that kind of power, I would use more than a single bolt though. Make your tab wider, and drill a couple of holes through tab and crossmember, then use grade 8 3/8" or 7/16" bolts.. I think I would do 3... The center factory trans mount hole and then drill a hole on left and right of that one.. Put 3 bolts through it, with red locktight and lock washers.
Truth be told... Sometimes bolts are better than welds. If the person doing the welding really don't know how to weld, that is. It's easy to lay a nice looking bead down with a gas mig welder, but just cause it looks good, does not mean it has the correct penetration.
I had a friend that was like that. He could make the weld look great, but it was just on the surface. Take a common 16 oz hammer and give it a tap and the weld would break. He said something was wrong with the metal. I took same metal and welded it with his welder then told him to grab the 5 lb hammer and try to break it. He beat on the thing for 20 min as hard as he could and finally broke it.. The weld didn't break, but the metal about 1/16" above the heat line broke.
